Cyprus’ Colorful Provinces: Larnaca & Famagusta
Larnaca is located on the southeast coast of Cyprus. The ancient city of Kition, which is a part of Larnaca, it is one of the important areas of ancient Cyprus, as well as the birthplace of the ancient philosopher Zenonas.
Famagusta is also located in the eastern part of the island, in the bay that bears its name. The actual meaning of its name implies that the city is buried in the sand, with beautiful sandy beaches, which make the area a world-famous tourist resort.
Both provinces are full of golden sandy beaches with beautiful clear blue waters, plenty of tourist activities for entertainment and leisure, as well as unique points of interest.
Starting from Larnaca, travelers will move to the east side of the island, via the coastal road to Famagusta, following the proposed route with a total distance of 60 km.
