From Kykkos to Olympus

Troodos is the highest mountain range in Cyprus, which peaks’ reach an altitude of 1952 meters. It was named Troodos because of the “three roads (odos)” that connect the mountain range to Nicosia, Limassol and Prodromos area. According to another version, its name came from “Mount-Ados”, i.e. the mountain of Adonis.

Scattered throughout the areas that make up the Troodos Mountain range, one will encounter enchanting nature trails, areas with breathtaking natural beauty and monuments which depict the cultural heritage of the place.

Travelers can follow the route as shown, starting from Nicosia, Famagusta or Larnaca.
